as a consequence of their disease and immature digestive system.


The shape of the flange makes it ideal for the management of babies with multiple stomas as it has no starter hole.


Welland's unique hydrocolloid flange shape has been designed to be flexible for a number of uses.

It can be used either vertically or horizontally. The benefit to being used horizontally is that it can be
put over the side of the cot so that the newborn baby does not have to take the weight of the pouch.

As the flange has no starter hole it allows successful management of stomas that develop fistulas or sinuses in the peristomal tissue.
